How loud are skincare fridges?

Most thermoelectric skincare fridges operate between 25 35 decibels, which is roughly equivalent to a whisper or a quiet library. The best models in our testing were essentially inaudible from more than a few feet away. Some units have a slight hum during active cooling cycles that is more noticeable in completely silent rooms. If noise sensitivity is a concern, look for models specifically marketed as ultra quiet, and avoid compressor based mini fridges, which are significantly louder.
