Do USB C hubs work with all laptops?

USB C hubs work with any laptop that has a USB C port supporting data transfer and video output (DisplayPort Alt Mode). Most modern laptops from 2018 onward qualify. However, some budget laptops have USB C ports that only support charging, not data in that case, the hub will not work. Thunderbolt 3/4 ports are fully compatible and often provide the best performance. Check your laptop specs if you are unsure.
