Do robot vacuums work on thick carpet?

Most handle low to medium pile carpet well. High pile carpet and shag rugs are harder the vacuum may struggle to climb onto them or the brushroll may stall. Models with 2500Pa+ suction and automatic boost features (like eufy's BoostIQ) do better. If most of your home is thick carpet, a robot vacuum will help but it will not fully replace a traditional vacuum.
