Do air fryers use a lot of electricity?

Air fryers are actually more energy efficient than conventional ovens. A typical air fryer uses 1,200 to 1,500 watts and cooks food 20 to 30% faster than an oven, which uses 2,000 to 5,000 watts. Over a year of regular use, an air fryer costs far less to run than an oven used at the same frequency. They also heat up faster and do not warm up your entire kitchen.
